One Day Training Cum Planning Workshop Campaign for Basic Astronomy & Annular Solar Eclipse 2019 held today at KPR Institute of Engg and Technology, Coimbatore.GALILEO SCIENCE CLUB organized the event very well.
Hundreds of students and teachers from across the state attended the event.
10 of our students participated in the event.
First session Miss.Sonal Thorve,outreach Expert,IUCAA,Pune explained clearly about Ring Eclipse- 2019.
Students learned enthusiastically about eclipses.
In the second session,VIBHA President Mr.Vasudevan explained easily and clearly about basic astronomy.Students learned astronomy with great confidence.
At the third session,GALILEO SCIENCE CLUB Coordinator Mr. Kannabiran explained the day time astronomy with hands on activity.Through this session,students easily and clearly understood daytime astronomy.
Certificates were issued to all the students who attended.This event was very useful for our students.
Events such as these will stimulate students' innovative thinking.
