ISRO Voyage Experiences:

I went to ISRO with our five students to be the launch witness of PSLV C 47 on 27/11/2019.Really it's a great and unforgettable experience.Isro's hospitality was meritorious.

The two launch pads of Sriharikota are invisible if we see from the launch view gallery.So every moment was tense.

Space Theme Park:


A Space Theme Park is being realized at SDSC SHAR to enable the citizens of this nation to witness the launches taking place from the space port of India.It includes,

1.Rocket Garden:

All the 1:1 ratio of beautiful ISRO launch vehicles Sounding Rocket, SLV, ASLV,PSLV, GSLV, MK-3 will be realised with a provision to go inside.Lawns will be developed along with photo points fountain will be realised at the middle of the rocket garden.

2. Launch View Gallery:

The Space Port of India,naturally attracts the visitors to witness the launch activities and cheer for the pride of our Nation.At present, there are no appropriate facilities  for  accommodating more number of visitors to view the launch at Sriharikota.This would allow thousands of viewers to witness the launch.

3.Space Museum:

Space Museum provides a telltale account of the Indian Space Programme from its infancy.The story of the Indian Space Programme is unfurled in six sections,comprising of history,education,technology, applications, global and the future.

Nearest Railway Station : Sullurpeta,which is
18 Kms away from Sriharikota. Limited Public/Private Transport is available from Sullurpeta to Sriharikota.

The students had a lot of suspicions at the time the rocket was launched.They are not measurable.Each question was raised for response.From here our students received lot of  responses from what they saw and heard.

Currently our students learned the base language of the rocket.They will speak with it,soon.

Thanks to the ISRO that gave this opportunity.Isro's integration was great.Special thanks to the Andhra Transport Department (APSRTC) which provided excellent travel experience.

VVM-Online Exam

Our students wrote the VVM Online Exam on 24/11/2019.Now certificates have been issued for that.

The exam were co-ordinated by central government institutions such as Vijnana Bharati,Vigyan Prasar and NCERT.

For our students who have always written exams through paper and pen,the online exam has been innovative.

Our students felt the novelty and they enjoyed the exam.

Nowadays all sectors are heading towards digital technology.Writing exams with paper and pen will be outdate in the future.

Our students have now successfully joined the digital exam system.

OSF's OSC-Telescope handling & Demonstration class.

Telescope handling & demonstration class was held on behalf of Open Space Foundation on the school premises and the diary book for the OSC was given to the students today.

OSF's Resource Person Mr.BHARAT taught our students the most effective telescopic handling techniques.

He taught with ease and effective.

Our students gained the ability to assemble and use telescopes.

This is their TELESCOPE from today

Now this is their domain.

வணக்கம் - சிறு விளக்கம்

காலை வணக்கம்,மதிய வணக்கம்,மாலை வணக்கம் என்று கூறுவது சரியானதா?

இறைவனை மட்டுமே வணங்குதலும், மனிதர்களை வாழ்த்துதலுமே தமிழர் மரபு.சேர மன்னன் குடும்பத்துடன் கானகம் சென்ற போது 'வாழ்க எம்கோ' என மக்கள் வாழ்த்தினர்.அவ்வாறே 'வாழ்க நீ எம்மான்' என அரசர்களைப் புலவர்கள் வாழ்த்துதலே தமிழர் பண்பாடாக இருந்து வந்துள்ளது.

சமஸ்கிருத மொழிக்கலப்பால் பிற்காலத்தில் வணக்கம் மனிதர்களுக்கும் வழங்கப்பட ஆரம்பித்தது.சமஸ்கிருதத்தில் அவர்கள் 'நமஸ்காரம்' என்று கூறியதை நாம் வணக்கம்
என தவறாக மொழிமாற்றம் செய்து,
மனிதர்களையும் வணங்க ஆரம்பித்தோம்.
மனித வணக்கம் என்பது தமிழர் பண்பாடாக இல்லாவிடினும்,தற்போது இலக்கணப்படி
வழுவமைதியாக ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளது.

ஆயினும் காலை வணக்கம்,மதிய வணக்கம்,மாலை வணக்கம் என்று கூறுவது சரியானதா?

இவை ஆங்கிலத்தினை சூழ்நிலைக்கு ஏற்றவாறு மொழிப்பெயர்க்காமல்,அப்படியே
மொழிப்பெயர்ப்பதினால் ஏற்பட்ட தவறான சொல் வழக்குகள்.

இது போன்றே பல மொழிப்பெயர்ப்புகள் பொருந்தாமலே இருக்கும்.உதாரணமாக ஆற்று நீரில் என்ற சொற்றொடரில் நீர் என்னும் சொல்லே தேவையற்றது.ஆறு என்றாலே நீர்தான்.

மலையின் மேல் என்பதில் மலை என்றாலே மேல்தான்.மலையில் என்பதே சரியானது!

Water Falls என்பதை அப்படியே மொழிப்பெயர்த்து நீர்வீழ்ச்சி என்கிறோம்.நீருக்கு ஏது வீழ்ச்சி?
அருவி எனும் சொல்லே ஏற்புடையது.

King Cobra என்பதை வார்த்தை மாறாமல் பெயர்த்து இராஜநாகம் என்கிறோம்.
கருநாகம் எனும் சொல்லே தமிழுக்கு ஏற்றது.

இதையெல்லாம் விடப் பெரிய ஆச்சரியம் என்னவெனில் டீசல் என்பதைக் கல்நெய் என மொழிப்பெயர்ப்பது.டீசலைக் கண்டறிந்த ரூடால்ப் டீசலின் பெயரே அதற்கு வைக்கப்பட்டது!

கண்டுபிடிப்புகளை அந்தந்த மொழிப்பெயர்களுடன் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டுமா? அல்லது அவற்றின் பெயர்களை தமிழில் உருவாக்கலாமா? என்பது பெறும் விவாதத்திற்கு உரியது.

கண்டறிந்தோர் இட்ட பெயரை ஏற்பதே அந்தக் கண்டுபிடிப்பிற்கு நாம் செய்யும் மரியாதை என ஒரு தரப்பினரும்,அவற்றிற்கு தமிழில் பெயரிட்டால் தமிழின் சொற்களஞ்சியம் மேலும் பெருகும் என ஒரு தரப்பினரும் கூறுகின்றனர்.எது சரி என்பது உங்கள் சிந்தனைக்கு!

நாம் வணக்கத்திற்கு வருவோம்.Good morning என்பது உனக்கு நல்ல காலைப் பொழுது அமையட்டும் என விருப்பம்(Wish) தெரிவித்தல்.தமிழில் வணக்கம் என்பது வணங்குதல்.இரண்டும் வேறுவேறு பொருள் தரக்கூடியன.

ஆனால் வணங்கும் போது நாம் விரும்புதல் பொருள் தரும் மொழிப்பெயர்ப்பைப் பயன்படுத்தி,காலை வணக்கம்,மதிய வணக்கம்,மாலை வணக்கம் என்று கூறி வருகிறோம்.

ஆங்கிலத்தில் கூறும்போது விரும்புதல் பொருளில் Good morning,Good afternoon,Good night என்று கூறலாம்.

ஆனால் தமிழில் கூறும்போது,சிறு பொழுதுகளை இணைத்து வணங்குதல் இலக்கண வழக்கப்படி பிழை என்பதால்,வணங்குதல் பொருளில் வணக்கம் என்று மட்டுமே கூற வேண்டும்.

காலை வணக்கம்,மதிய வணக்கம்,மாலை வணக்கம் எனக் கூறுவதனைத் தவிர்த்தல்,தமிழ் இலக்கண வழக்கப்படி சரியானதாகும்.
